Obituary

Barbara Jean Pacheco (Our Teeny) passed away unexpectedly on the 6 th of August 2021 at the age of 65. Teeny was born in Gilroy, California September 9 th , 1955, to her parents Richard and Gloria Thrasher. She was the baby in the family with two older siblings, Marilyn, and Fred. She was given her nickname "Teeny" from her father when she was young because she was so tiny.

Teeny graduated from Gilroy High School Class of '73 and was a proud Letter Girl. A few years after high school she married the love of her life, Frank Pacheco on January 9 th , 1976, and was blessed with two stepsons, Michael, and Vince, to raise with Glen. Shortly after Mark and Kenny were born. They just celebrated 45 years of marriage.

Teeny's sons were the highlight of her life. She was a stay-at-home mom with her boys for many years until her youngest entered high school.  At that time, she started working as a receptionist for Dr. Wafelbakker and Dr. Anderson Orthodontics. Many knew her as the beautiful bright soul who welcomed in every patient for the last 25 years. "Barbie Doll", as her co-workers would call her, made everyone she met feel loved.  Whether it was through her smile, her laugh or her genuinely kind-heart, everyone who met her felt lifted in her presence.

Teeny's Grandparents, Pete and Mary Rizzi had nine children which resulted in a lot of first cousins that Teeny was blessed with calling her best friends. Teeny was always with family. Her house was the place people wanted to be at. From swim parties, to barbeques, to just hanging out in the garage, it was everyone's favorite spot. When she wasn't having people over you could find her on the back of Frank's motorcycle which they started taking out every weekend after the kids moved out. They would take adventures all over making new friends at everyplace they stopped.

Teeny's sons adored her. She became a second mom to their friends as well. Her daughter-in-laws called her their best friend. Her grandkids wanted to spend all of their time with her.  Her husband called her his soulmate. To know Teeny was to know love. She was the life of every party, the laughter in every room and the sun that never stopped shining. There is no way to count how many lives she has touched. Her life was cut short here on Earth but in those 65 years she was beloved by so many. Teeny is survived by her husband Frank, her three sons and their wives—Glen (Katie), Mark (Heather), Kenny (Erin), her seven grandchildren (Tyler, Camryn, Ashley, Hudson, Callie, Sophie and Abbie), her two step sons, Vince and Michael (Heather) and her five step grandchildren (Zachary, Zoey, Michael, Juston and Jessica) Until we see her again in Heaven we will do our best to make others feel loved—just like she did.
