Augustina Hernandez, age 92, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on August 16, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Tomas Hernandez for 71 years. Loving mother of six sons, Tony (Mary), Tomas, Jr. (Debbie), Rudy, John (Francisca), Gus (Mona) and Frank; five daughters, Vicky, Luisa (Bernardino), Carmen, Alice and Lupe (Ruben); twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren; one sister, Margarita Leyva and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service starting at 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Parish, 11 First Street, Gilroy, CA followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
