ARTHUR J. ESCOBAR, 91, passed away at his home in Gilroy on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Husband of 65 years, Mary R. Escobar of Gilroy. Father of Mary J. Escobar of Newman, CA, Clare J. Norton (Jim) of McKinleyville, CA, Art Escobar of Gilroy and Albert Escobar(Kristy) of Gilroy. Grandfather of Valerie, A.J., Bill, Adam, Conner and Jiana Escobar; Stephanie, Melissa and Jacob Norton; Mary Jeanine Bonta. Great-Grandfather of Clara Baer. Brother of Mary Bettencourt(Louie) of Gilroy and the late Joe Escobar and Ann Pedro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Moved to Gilroy in 1950 from San Jose. Long-time Dairyman. Member of St. Mary Church and the I.F.D.E.S Lodge, Gilroy.
Funeral Mass Friday, May 15, 2015 – 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.
