Arthur Federico Corona age 76, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2015 at his home in Seaside with his family at his side. Arthur was born on Oct. 3, 1939 to Nieves and Ramon Corona (deceased). He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Manuel Corona, Ernest Corona, Ruth Martinez, Gloria Ballard (Hal Shumway), Norma Quackenbush (Pete), Alice Jimenez (Randall) and Chuck Corona. He was proceeded in death by siblings: Toby Corona (Helen) deceased, Beatrice Corona, deceased, Ofelia Artana (Bob) deceased, Jack Corona (Avalon) deceased and Alfred Corona, deceased. He also leaves numerous nephews and nieces.

He graduated from Gilroy High School in 1958. In 1965 he joined his older brothers who were already established in the furniture business in Monterey County. He liked work and spent his life at this vocation. He enjoyed Monterey, especially a good bowl of Clam Chowder at the pier. He also enjoyed just about any sport and country western music.

Arthur was a kind and gentle person. We will miss him very much.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 6 from 12 noon to 2:00 PM, the funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., and followed with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
