Ann Filice, born Anna Mae Geneski, grew up with her five siblings in Riverhead, Long Island. At age 18, after high school graduation, she traveled cross country by bus to join her sister Loretta in Gilroy. There she met her future husband, Ernie, and together they raised three children.

She was the ultimate mother, extending her love to not only her family, but to all with whom she came into contact. Everyone who knew her felt her warmth and generosity. She was an accomplished artist who loved to travel. She managed several businesses with her husband, including a prune packing plant and a shopping center and worked in a doctor's office as a medical assistant.

She joined her husband Ernie and son Gary in the afterlife on Dec. 5, 2024. Remaining are daughters Toni and Renée, daughter-in-law Kathy and grandchildren Kevin (Leiaunelle) and Brian Filice, Drew (Cassandra) and Vanessa Erskine, and great-grandsons Noah Filice, and Casey and Alex Erskine. We all love her and will miss her dearly.

Services will be held Wed. Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at Habing Funeral Home, Gilroy.
