Angelo R. Lucido Jr.. 84, of Gilroy. California, formerly of Struthers, died Wednesday evening, October 18,2017 in Mountain View CA.

Angelo, affectionately known as Ange, was born May 3, 1933 in Lowellville, OH, a son of Angelo and Nerina Martino Lucido.

Raised in Lowellville, Ange resided in Struthers for 45 years until moving to Gilroy, CA two years ago to live with his son Tom and his family.

A 1951 graduate of Lowellville High School, Ange owned and operated Ange Lucido Siding Company for 40 plus years.

He was a very active member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers including the Men's Holy Name Society. In California he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish.

Ange was a social member of the Struthers VFW Post #3538, The St. Anthony Club, The Struthers Lions Club and The Cardinal Mooney High School Booster Club. For many years, Ange loved attending Cardinal Mooney football games and watching the New York Yankees. Most recently he enjoyed attending his grandson's football games in Gilroy.

Ange was proud of his Lowellville and Struthers roots. He took great pride in his home in Nebo, working in his yard and his garden. , He valued deeply his Lowellville High School, Class of 1951 and looked forward to the second Wednesday of every month dinner at the Fireplace. He also loved his many special friends in Struthers.

Ange cherished his time spent with family most. In earlier years he loved vacationing every summer at President Campground in Tionesta, PA., which was owned by his father and mother-in-law, Emil and Amy Elias. In later years, he enjoyed vacationing in Mexico, Hawaii, and the California Coast. Family Reunions were his favorite, especially this past summer in Myrtle Beach, Sc. He spent precious time with his family who he loved and cherished, his sons, Dan and Tom and their families, brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Terry, Kim and Drew, and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Joel, Juliana, and Alivia, Andrew, Lilly, Ashley and Justin.

Leaving behind his family and friends in LowellviIIe and Struthers was very difficult for Ange, but every day for the last two years he was happy to spend time with his son Tom, beautiful daughter-in­law, Lilly, grandsons, Brandon and Cole, and granddaughter. Princess Sophia, who made everyday special for Papa.

Ange leaves behind his loving wife, the former Sandra Elias, whom he married June 13, 1971: three sons, Tom (Lilly) Lucido of Gilroy, CA, Dan (Leann) Rossi of Onalaska, TX, and Michael T. Rossi; ten grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel and Sara, Megan, Jordan, Michael and Jonathon, and Brandon, Cole, and Sophia; one sister, Rose Turner of Ft. Myers, FL; his brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ange was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Armand, Anthony and James Lucido; and two sisters, Geraldine Lucido and Lucy Mularchik.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Gilroy, CA.
