With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Alonzo Alvarez age 17,  who left us far too soon. Alonzo had just graduated from Christopher High School, proudly walking the stage with dreams as big as his heart. He aspired to become a firefighter—a calling that perfectly matched his courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

As a son, brother, and friend, Alonzo was a spark of joy and mischief. He had a smart mouth and a crazy sense of humor, but underneath that he was a heart full of loyalty, kindness, and love. He never stopped asking questions, never stopped learning, and never failed to make those around him laugh.

His presence, his voice, and that light in his eyes will forever echo in our hearts. He will always be with us.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th, 2025 at 10am located at Habing Family Funeral Home where all who knew and loved Alonzo are welcome to gather, share stories, and honor the incredible young man he was.
