Alice went home and entered the gates of heaven to be with the Lord above on March 1, 2018. Born on January 9, 1939 in Ventura California and moved to Gilroy in 1949.  Alice is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Robert Padron, daughters Debbie Padron-Talavera, Doreen Padron-Salinas (Omar), son Marc Padron (Michele). Grandsons Michael Salinas, Ryan Talavera, and Anthony Betancourt. Granddaughter Ariana Padron, great grandsons Michael Salinas Jr, twins Ryan and Nathaniel Talavera and King Betancourt.

She is preceded in death by her son- in- law Jimmy Talavera, parents Nieves and Alberta Velador, brothers David and Nick Velador.

Alice was a devoted women of faith with a passion for the Lord. She enjoyed gardening but her most precious possession in life, was her family. Nana, she was called, had an overpowering love for her family. She will dearly be missed by all those that loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10am on Monday March 12, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church 11 First St, Gilroy. Following mass she will be laid to rest at St Mary Cemetery.
