Alice left us on Sunday, March 12, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born June 17, 1947 to Edward and Mary Rosmarin in Hampton, Virginia, moved to Landcaster, CA in 1950, and then to San Jose, CA in 1960. She graduated from Notre Dame High in San Jose and met and married David Williams after graduation. They had two beautiful daughters, Heather and Kim. Then in 1983 she met David Freeman. In 1985 they married on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. They were married for 32 years up until her passing. During those years Alice worked for Altos/ Acer computers for 13 years. In 1992 she and David picked up and left the Bay Area to live in their cabin in Long Barn, CA in Tuolumne County. They took a year off and traveled to many places. They have visited Hawaii, took cruises to the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera, Lake Tahoe, Lake Shasta, Canada, Reno, and Las Vegas to name a few. Alice loved fishing. She and David fished in the high country of the Sierra Nevada lakes and streams and for marlin off the shores of Kona. She took many house boating trips to Lake Shasta, which was one of her favorite places to be. She loved music and went to many concerts like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, and Huey Lewis to name a few. She enjoyed sports and attending Raiders, 49ers, Giants and A's games. She also attended the 1988 World Series. In 1994 she helped David start Freeman and Freeman Enterprises, a landscape maintenance and firewood business. David still runs the company today. Alice went in 1997 off to work in Jackson, CA for PG Fry Properties and Gainer Associates as an office manager, where she worked for 12 years. They sold the cabin in 2003 and lived in Jackson until Alice retired in 2010. They moved to Jamestown, Ca where David cared for her with the help of many loving people. She was finally admitted to Hillview Convalescent Hospital in Morgan Hill, CA until her passing. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family, especially her five beautiful grandchildren; Andrew, Kelly, Brittany, Bradley, and Jagger. She never missed a birthday, graduation, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or any family gathering. For those who knew Alice, she will be truly missed.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Rosmarin, and her father in law Eulan Bobby Freeman. She is survived by her loving husband David; daughter and son in law Heather and Bob Budish, of Hollister, CA; daughter Kim Westfall of Maui, Hawaii; brother and sister in law Edward and Judy Rosmarin of Vacaville, CA; sister in laws Debby Freeman and Karen Beavers of Morgan hill, CA; brother in law James Freeman of Mountain View, CA; brother and sister in law Jeff and Shanny Freeman of Chico, CA; her grandchildren Andrew Bariteau of San Jose, CA; Kelly Burish of Calistoga, CA; Brittany Budish of Los Banos, CA; Bradley Budish of Hollister, CA; Jagger Westfall of Maui, Hawaii; mother in law Dorothy V. Freeman residing at Hillview Convalescent Hospital; nieces, nephews and great nephews; aunts, and many many friends. There will be a viewing on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 10AM to 1PM at Habing Family Funeral Home on 129 Fourth Street in Gilroy, CA. The internment will take place at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery on March 28, 2017 at 11AM.
Celebration of life will follow the viewing to be held at 13085 Uvas Road in Morgan Hill, CA 95037 at 2PM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Convalescent Hospital, Seasons Hospice of San Jose, CA, Seniority Life Care of Sonora, CA, and the many people that helped care for Alice.
