Les Beard passed away April 11, 2016, at home, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Georgia Beard. 'Papa' was a loving and supportive father to Sandi Austin, Linda Beard and Robert Beard. Grandfather to Joshua Austin, Daniel Austin and Lara Bartol. And great grandfather to Sarah Austin, Danielle Austin and Chloe Austin.

More than anything he enjoyed activities with family, and caring for and helping others. He enjoyed fishing and baseball games with his grandsons, crossword puzzles and volunteering for the Lions in Yachats, Oregon where he resided with his beloved wife Georgia, for 20 years.
