Our father "Daddy" Albert Torres Sr. son of Felipe and Lucia Torres passed away peacefully with family and friends at his side on October 8, 2009 in Los Banos, CA. Albert was born in Tulare, CA on August 15, 1939, he was a longtime Gilroy resident. He will be dearly missed by his children and their family's. Albert was preceded in death by his two sons Philip and Miguel Torres and three of his brothers. He is survived by his children and their family's Albert Torres Jr., Robert and Crystal Torres, Rodney and Irma Torres, Cynthia and David Haglund, Jeanette and Jerry Ostrowski, Molly and Michael Ham, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 7 brothers and sisters. Albert retired in 2001 after 42 years of professional masonry and master of all trades. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 15, 2009 2:00 P.M. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 17400 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Memorial Park, Morgan Hill.
