Agustin Vega passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 72 in Gilroy, CA surrounded by his loving family. Agustin, the youngest of 10, was born on August 26, 1951, to Jesus Vega & Cipriana Maldonado in Acambaro, Guanajuato, where he later married his wife of 50 years, Raquel Perez.

Agustin lived in Gilroy for over 24 years and worked as mechanic(auto). He enjoyed working on cars as that was his passion. A hardworking husband, father, and grandfather, Agustin is survived by his wife and his five children, Jesus Vega (Nila), Ana Vega (Manuel), Teresa Plaza (Gregorio), Rosie Vega (Enrique) and Lilly Castro (Oscar). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Jesse, Osvaldo, Kevin, Joey, Alfredo, Lupita, Andres, Jessica, Itzel, Jasmine, Alexander, Natalie, Julie; his great granddaughter, Daisy and many nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, uncle & friend. He was known for his big heart as he always helped people in need or whoever asked him for a favor. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and those who had the pleasure of knowing him, but his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
